I rarely write reviews, but I had to share my experience with this soap. I’ve suffered from eczema for a very long time and my skin is incredibly reactive. I was hesitant to try something new, but I’m so glad I did. This 70% Aleppo soap has been a complete game-changer. My skin is calm, clear, and comfortable for the first time in ages. It’s also fantastic value for money. If you have sensitive or problematic skin, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this a try.
Soap comes with laurel oil content of 70%. This is the highest laurel oil content available on the market. It’s from a small batch made over 8 years ago and is in limited supply. The 70% laurel oil content gives it a lovely aroma and may be more suited to those who suffer from dry skin conditions, dermatitis, psoriasis or eczema.

- Bars are 200g +/-10% each and have a very long shelf life
- The essential oil of Laurus nobilis has been shown to have antiviral and antibacterial properties
- Some people find Aleppo soap helps alleviate symptoms of psoriasis or eczema

- The glycerine that makes olive oil based soaps so nice on the skin means they can get a bit soggy if left wet, so it’s recommended to use a soap dish or rack with good drainage

Thanks for the review. There are many different manufacturers of Aleppo soap, and each have their own recipe. It means there is variation from maker to maker and batch to batch. This particular Aleppo soap is unscented and has a high percentage of laurel oil, which will give it a different scent to other soap

This soap is hydrating. I’ve always found my skin dry after using regular soap. Not anymore! My skin feels clean, hydrated and I no longer have dry flakey skin. I introduced this soap to my husband! He no longer buys bodywash. Hands down the best soap around. Also, customer service is fantastic.

I have at last found my dream soap. As gentle as an enriched soap but not letting any greasy film, as efficient as my usual Marseille soap but not as rough, it is perfect for the whole family’s allergic skin and hundred percent safe. Plus it doesn’t transform in mush in the soap-dish.
