I rarely write reviews, but I had to share my experience with this soap. I’ve suffered from eczema for a very long time and my skin is incredibly reactive. I was hesitant to try something new, but I’m so glad I did. This 70% Aleppo soap has been a complete game-changer. My skin is calm, clear, and comfortable for the first time in ages. It’s also fantastic value for money. If you have sensitive or problematic skin, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this a try.
Soap comes with laurel oil content of 70%. This is the highest laurel oil content available on the market. It’s from a small batch made over 8 years ago and is in limited supply. The 70% laurel oil content gives it a lovely aroma and may be more suited to those who suffer from dry skin conditions, dermatitis, psoriasis or eczema.
- This soap has been aged for over 7 years
- Bars are 200g +/-10% each and have a very long shelf life
- The essential oil of Laurus nobilis has been shown to have antiviral and antibacterial properties
- Some people find Aleppo soap helps alleviate symptoms of psoriasis or eczema
- No added scents or chemicals.

- The glycerine that makes olive oil based soaps so nice on the skin means they can get a bit soggy if left wet, so it’s recommended to use a soap dish or rack with good drainage

This soap is amazing. Skin feels nice and clean without the harsh chemicals as in other soaps. Would recommend this to anyone looking for natural healthy outlook.
Perfect soap that’s gentle, hydrating and has done wonders to eradicate my eczema. Also great for shaving, and as Geo F Trumper fan, that isn’t faint praise. This soap is worth it’s weight in gold!
This type of soap is THE BEST soap I have ever used and will continue to use( however I am going to give the Nablus soap a try out of curiosity). They also promptly shipped the item the same day so i had it within 48 hours as I selected the Royal Mail 48 option.

I have at last found my dream soap. As gentle as an enriched soap but not letting any greasy film, as efficient as my usual Marseille soap but not as rough, it is perfect for the whole family’s allergic skin and hundred percent safe. Plus it doesn’t transform in mush in the soap-dish.
